It has gained supporters like State Farm, Walmart, Civic Frame, Empowering Minds of Maryland's Youth, Alph Phi Alpha RHO TAU LAMBDA Chapter & BETA ALPHA Chapter, Project Soar, Baltimore City Schools, Department Of Parks & Recreations, Department Of Juvenile Services and stakeholders throughout the community. It has also received citations from the Mayor's Office for it's community service.
Each year. it grows and addresses guests with keynote speakers and break away workshops. Founder Smith utilizes her witty banter and humorous style to lay a foundation for a very serious message conveyed to the young people. Smith’s years of expertise as a police detective in Special Investigations coupled with a strong passion and heart to serve the youth community has allowed her to see the need for programs and events such as this one that create awareness and help educate both youth and adults. In Smith’s own words she explains “They [our youth] are not being taught the components of healthy relationships to avoid harmfulness and self destruction, like dating violence.”
